Four Little Flowers
Four little flowers I did see.
I picked one, then there were three
Three little flowers, pretty and new.
I picked another, then there were two.
Two little flowers out in the sun.
I picked one more, then there was one.
One little flower left in the sun.
I picked it too, then there were none.
Up Pops A Flower (Sung to: “Pop, Goes the Wheasel”)
We plant some seeds in the dirt.
The rain falls in a shower.
The sun comes out, and what do you know?
Up! Pops a flower!
Sunflower
Sunflower, sunflower, standing straight and tall,
Sunflower, sunflower, you’re the tallest flower of them all!
Sunflower, sunflower, when your seeds fall to the ground,
Sunflower, sunflower, by the squirrels they’ll be found!
Seeds
A little seed for me to sow
A little earth to make it grow
A little hole, a little pat,
A little wish, and this is that,
A little sun, a little shower
A little while-
And then, a flower!
Plant Parts (Sung to: “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes”)
Flowers, leaves, stems, and roots (stems and roots).
Flowers, leaves, stems, and roots (stems and roots).
Please don’t sneeze; there’s pollen in the breeze!
Flowers, leaves, stems, and roots (stems and roots).
The Gardening Song
First you take a shovel, a rake, and a hoe
Plant a little garden, pllant seeds in a row
Water them and weed them through all the summer heat
And then you’ll have some flowers or vegetables to eat.
Seeds (Sung to: "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star")
Dig a hole deep in the groung
Spread some tiny seeds around
Pat them down
So they will keep
They are lying fast asleep
Rain will help the seeds to grow
Sunshine keeps them warm I know!
In My Flower Garden (Sung to: "Down By the Station")
Out in my garden
Early in the morning,
See the pretty flowers
Standing in a row.
Set the rows of daisies
And the rows of sweet peas
Hoe-Hoe, grow-grow,
In my garden, please.
